Module 2 -layout past paper sample answers

Hello ,

I was wondering if anyone could help out here? I am working through past paper and was wondering if there are any sample answers to past papers anywhere if so can anyone direct me to them please?

There are no formally published answers. One of the main reasons is that depending on what practice you are following, there will be many possibilities. The study pack which you get when you register for the exams has several elements of worked examples for different scenarios.

You will find many attempts posted here with associated comments and advice which will allow you to see the elements that need calculation and those for which there are engineering judgements to be used on.

There are lots of posts with attempts at calcualtions. If you want to have a go at trying placing of signals, you could start by just stating some assumptions about braking and headway and what principles you are following and have a go at fitting signals to the layout.

Sorry if that is a disappointment. Feel free to ask specific questions or post attempts (or partial attempts) for comment.

No Worries. I am just attempting past papers. Please find attached my attempt at the 2005 past paper.If you get a chance please could you check/review and provide feedback and recommendations on improvements.
