I have been trying to formulate(as part of revision) a possible question and answer on robust train protection as far as swinging overlaps,flank protection,ATP,and other mitgations against overruns.Also; the implications of the recent change to NetworkRail standards removing the need to prove detection for points in the overlap in signal contols.Can anyone offer some guidance/references on this subject which may assist with exam preparations in case a related question come up?
