CT Format- IRSE Recommended

We have already put the best we have on the website; I have forwarded the comments received to the examiner who produced but whether it'll change slightly before the exam I have no way of knowing. However I am sure that for all intents and purposes, what you see is what you'll be expected to fill in on the day.no longer have to create the blanks

None of us actually know what will be asked in terms of points and signals. Clearly since only have half the time, they cannot realistically be expecting the same number. However I guess that it might be a little over half, given the fact that now use pre-prepared blanks. I always used to reckon that a good student could do that in about 12 minutes for a "route per page type", say 9 mins for a column type.

My GUESS at what an exam paper MIGHT look like has been posted in the thread setting a mock paper for the forthcoming Signet weekend. I did send to the examiners and asked to be told if it would be misleading, but got no response. Seeing as they are not supposed to be contactable at this time, I didn't chase an answer; I think though had it been significantly misleading that I'd have been told.

Hence I think that this represents the best estimate likely to be available prior to the exam.

Hi

Please upload the final copy of IRSE recommended Blank control Table for Signals & Points which will be provided during the Oct 2011 Module 3 exam.

As per latest announcement, marks allocation and exam pattern for Module 3 has been changed. Now the CT question will be having 6 signal and 2 Point CT
