My Introduction
#1
Hi there,

I'm a Portuguese based electronics engineer. I started working in Alcatel, back in 2003.
My role in the first year was as a support engineer for the maintenance center for signalling. After one year of learning experience, both in paper, by hands in the job and many fault finding situations. I got to be the Head engineer of the Maintenance center. After this role, I was invited to join the light rail project of metro do Porto. My next chalenge was in catenary construction, for another year. And finally got to a consultancy position, for the construction division of signalling and telecomunications at Refer headquarters.
As construction contracts have been halted in Portugal, I'm strugling to find a new oportunity either in The UK or Europe. I'm not considering going to Africa or Brasil at this point.
I'd rather take some advantage of the experience I gathered these years. But unfortunately seems I can't get any value for my past experience. As job oportunity's are not comming my way.

Hope to get some help, and help someone as I can.

Rui
