I'd only add that the IRSE blanks are available to download from (bottom right) of the Exam page on their website;
http://www.irse.org/membership/public/irseexam.aspx

and that these are the ones which Dorotthy has been using for her recent Control table attempts, so is setting a good example of
a) how to utilise,
b) how to cover those elements of locking that do not have an obvious "home" on those blanks,
c) what things not to bother about at all / cover by a general note on a separate A4 sheet where define the railway standards being adopted etc.
