In module 2, .......with about 5 mins left so I looked over my layout and realised that I had no track circuits in at all. I managed to get TC for 80% of the main line and the branch line that required them (Had token block section). I doubt I got all the TC's in the right place, especially around S&C but at least I got a lot of it done in that time. I probably lost 5% or so for that.

I think you have found that you can fall short of perfection and still pass the exam. Also that by doig the right thing in that last 5 minutes could have made the different between pass and fail. No tracks and you'd get none of the allocated marks; do 80% and I think you'd get very nearly all that were on offer if what you had done was OK.

So it has to be exams with written answers for you this year......

I will be doing module 1 and 5 this year. I had alook at the 2008 papers and wish I had done them this year as there were a lot of questions I could have answered without much studying!

I completed the written questions part of module 3 and dodged the control tables. I would far rather complete signalling principles questions than control tables any day!!!!!!
