A lot of the comments on this are of the same sort as those on your attempt at 236 (in particular the effect of the swinging overlap for 378 via 237 points and the presentation of the brackets for the overlap timing). Significant areas of omission are - calling the points N with routes form 214 and 416 when 237 are reverse - Other elements of flank protection, mainly calling 235 N when routes are set over 237R (378C, 353B, 251B) I would imagine that you would score reasonably on this as what you have put is consistent and (mostly) correct for the basic requirements. The elements that have been omitted are those details that the examiner will be looking for from the higher scoring candidates. If there are any parts of the comments above that you do not understand, please do not hesitate to ask further. Peter

Such feedback and discussion is something to have with the examiners at the IRSE (the exam review meeting held in the early part of each year is a good opportunity). Bear in mind thought, the exam has always been thus and there is a range of grades from very good to not so good. The exam committee normally takes the view that the exam is supposed to be challenging (probably the most challenging test in the early part of ones career) and all the time that there are candidates achieving all grades, the exam is probably considered to be at the correct level. One other thought is about the changes that are likely to happen in this year's exam which have been discussed elsewhere.
