The thing to do is carefully read all the Competency Assessment Criteria, and see elements might be able to be met from the job role you are currently undertaking.
On the face of it I wouldn't have expected that an Installation Supervisor would be undertaking all the activities needed to acquire the licence, but I can imagine that some elements would be covered. However have a look at the CACs for other licences- I guess that there would be a more appropriate licence for you.
